A Mothers Thoughts “I Googled ‘Driving School Near Me’ – What I Found Changed Everything”

A few months ago, I typed something into Google that low-key stressed me out:
“Driving school near me.”

My son and daughter had just turned 17. Both were excited to start driving. I was… panicking, just a little.
Because while my son was eager, and already sort of driving around the car park, my daughter, not wanting to be left behind, yet nervous, was dreaming of freedom, getting to part time job, driving to school instead of using public transport or using mum. I was starting to have flashbacks to when she couldn’t even ride a bike without falling sideways.

I clicked the first few links.
Some looked like booking portals. Some felt like robots wrote them.

If you’re a parent like me or a learner feeling unsure, don’t just search “driving school near me” and pick the first result. Look for heart. Look for someone who’ll treat you like a person, not just another hour in their schedule.
